The mastermind behind a massive pyramid scheme, Jin Hyun-pil (Lee Byung-hun) is a modern-day Robin Hood who is thought to be invincible. Armed with his One Network Corporation, Jin controls a massive amount of funds by pulling strings through some of the most powerful figures in Korean congress, media and court. Meanwhile, Captain Kim Jae-myung (Gang Dong-won) is the Financial Crimes Unit’s elite detective. With his eye on One Network, Kim has long been investigating Jin’s exploits and is ready to move in and make an arrest.

After discovering that Jin’s scheme is being run by software genius Park Jang-gun (Kim Woo-bin), Kim takes Park into custody and forces him to cooperate with the investigation. Stuck between his loyalty to Jin and the threat of going to jail, Park is in a catch-22 situation. Very soon, he realizes his ability to turn his predicament around, with a chance to swindle a large sum of money. Unfortunately, the schemer and pyramid godfather Jin is tipped off about a mole in his organization. As he searches desperately for the traitor, Park realizes that all enemies are now quickly closing in on his trail.
