“Men On the Dragon” is a sports comedy which is written and directed by Sunny Chan (“Monster Hunt 2”, 2018). Through dragon boat racing which is a Hong Kong tradition; and the four main characters played fabulously by veteran actors Francis Ng (“Infernal Affaris II”, 2003), Kenny Wong (“New Police Story”, 2004), Poon Chan Leung (“The Mad Phoenix”, 1997) and Wu Tsz Tung (“Weeds On Fire”, 2016), the film reflects the challenges that people are facing in their lives realistically. Audiences will be inspired by the story as the main characters who initially try to escape from reality start to seriously deal with the challenges that they are facing. “Men on the Dragon” is a box-office success in Hong Kong, grossing over HK$15 million. It is one of the unmissable “locally-made” Hong Kong movies in 2018.

Lung (Francis Ng), Tai (Kenny Wong), Suk-yi (Poon Chan Leung) and William (Wu Tsz Tung) are happy-go-lucky employees of a broadband network company who muddle their way through each day at work. When massive layoffs are expected, they pledge their loyalty to the company by signing up for the newly formed dragon boat team. When they embark on their rigid training, they’re inevitably forced to face their respective mid-life crises they have been dodging. As they rekindle their long-lost fighting spirit, they begin to welcome the challenges in life.
