The film also stars Tadanobu Asano (Thor) who shines in his role as a conniving instigator who will stop at nothing to recapture his past glory.

Kasane (Yoshine) is the daughter of famous actress Sukeyo (Rei Dan), a woman known for her outstanding beauty and incredible talent. Blessed with impressive performing skills, Kasane however lives with a face deformed by a giant scar. Ashamed of her appearance, she suffers from extreme shyness.

When Sukeyo dies, she leaves her daughter an enchanted lipstick that gives its wearer the power to switch faces with whomever they kiss. One of her mother’s acquaintance’s, Habuta (Asano), puts Kasane in contact with Nina (Tsuchiya), an arrogant actress who looks divine but is completely talentless. A deal is then made for Kasane to change faces with Nina and thus create the ultimate actress. But Habuta’s plan is far much crueller than it looks...
