Line Walker 2: Invisible Spy

(使徒行者2: 諜影行動)

A war between local Hong Kong police and international criminal organisations is the focus of Line Walker 2: Invisible Spy. The film follows the highly successful 2016 Line Walker which pulled in 600 million RMB at the China box office and was Hong Kong’s 6th highest grossing movie of 2016.  It is once again directed by Jazz Boon (A Fist Within Four Walls) and sees Nick Cheung (Nightfall, Unbeatable), Louis Koo (A Chinese Ghost Story, Paradox) and Francis Ng (Young and Dangerous, The Mission) reprise their previous roles.

Superintendent Yip (Ng) and Inspector Ching (Cheung) from the Criminal Intelligence Bureau have arrested a female hacker involved in a serious car crash. However, the two officers are under suspicion from Superintendent Cheung (Koo) who requests that the pair are forbidden to take part in the investigation. Meanwhile, vital clues lead the police to Myanmar and Spain but it soon becomes apparent there may be moles in the force and the investigation is fast going astray.
