“Justice in Northwest” is a crime drama directed by Huang Huang. It accounts the story of a female narcotics officer who solves a case of a cross border drug smuggling. Featuring Yu Nan (“The Expendables 2”, 2012) as the main character Captain Gao Qiao who lost the sense of taste, and also veteran actor Simon Yam (“Lara Croft Tomb Raider: The Cradle of Life”, 2003) as the porridge shop owner with a mysterious identity.  

The film tells the story of the female drugs squad captain who solved a case of cross-border smuggling and drug trafficking. Captain Gao Qiao (Yu Nan) lost her sense of taste because her brain was injured in a fight with a drug dealer. Soon after, Gao Qiao met Lu Hong (Simon Yam), an owner of a casserole porridge shop. As Lu Hong's casserole porridge helps Gao Qiao find her lost sense of taste, she became a regular guest to the porridge shop. During Gao Qiao’s in-depth investigation of a cross border drug smuggling case, the true identity of Lu Hong surfaced. Then a series of murders draw Gao Qiao in a huge revenge plan......
