Synopsis:

Superstars Donnie Yen ("Rogue One: A Star Wars Story", 2016) and Andy Lau ("The Great Wall", 2016) joined forces together the first time on screen to play the infamous drug lord "Crippled Ho" and chief police detective Lee Rock respectively in the new film "Chasing the Dragon". Directed by Wong Jing ("God of Gamblers"; 1989), "Chasing the Dragon" is a story about the brotherly love of "Crippled Ho" and Lee Rock; the two rose to become the most powerful leaders in the upper and under worlds. Since its release in September 2017, "Chasing the Dragon" became China's 8th top grossing Chinese movie of the year with a box office of USD $ 85,404,752.

In the 60s', corruption was rampant in Hong Kong. Ho (Donnie Yen) who was an illegal immigrant from Mainland China became a triad member; and was appreciated by Chief Detective Lee Rock (Andy Lau) During one of the gang fights, Ho sacrificed his right leg to save Rock and become the infamous "Crippled Ho". The two had since developed a close brotherly love. And Rock helped Ho to become the No.1 leader of the drug empire . Rock and Ho became extremely powerful and separated ruled the upper-world and the underworld of Hong Kong. However, at the same time, they were checking and wrestling secretly to ensure the balance of power between them. Until 1974, the establishment of ICAC forced Rock to have a premature retirement. However, Ho did not want to quit, and was determined to become the sole dictator of the drug empire ...
