Synopsis:

It is the 39th Doraemon feature film and to date is Japan’s highest-grossing film of 2019 taking in an impressive US$40 million at the box office. The film’s plot alludes to the Japanese folklore tale that a rabbit lives on the moon. A lunar probe has photographed a white shadow on the far side of the moon and Nobita (Ohara) insists that it is the legendary moon rabbit. Although everyone just laughs at him, Doraemon (Mizuta) uses a secret tool, his History Explorers Club Badge, which reveals that the moon indeed hosts a rabbit kingdom. Shortly thereafter, a mysterious boy named Luca transfers to Nobita’s school…
